Default QQ preflop

No read on the villain, this is his first hand at the table

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($17.40)
Button ($52.45)
Hero ($26.75)
BB ($10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q.
UTG raises to $0.5</font>, 1 fold</font>, Hero raises to $1.85</font>, BB raises to $3.25</font>, UTG folds

Is it wrong to push all in every time here?

Yeah, I'm a little curious about these kinds of hands too. Are we up against TT, JJ, and AK enough to make going all in profitable?

[/ QUOTE ]no. I call this preflop bet. I call a flop bet and fold to a turn bet. You have position so use it. Pushing preflop is pretty stupid, I'd much rather just 5-bet.

I hate just calling too, becuase if we are up against 1010 JJ what do we do if an A or K flops? If we are going to play the hand no matter the flop, it makes sense just to get it all in preflop anyway right?

Yeah, it's not profitable. Your up against AA and KK a lot here. Plus in this situation you're up against an unknown. Default play with QQ PF for me is that I'll raise or reraise a standard raise and I'll call a 3-bet. I never 4-bet unless I really know my opponent is light.

[/ QUOTE ]no. well not pushing over his raise. if you really want to get it in just 5-bet somewhere between $10 and $12 and call a push though I really don't recommend that.

He only has $10, how can we call the flop and fold the turn? A 5-bet is essentially all-in anyway
