Default old Party 10 hand/round vs now

This question is for those of you who have been around a few years.

I did fairly well at the old Party Poker STTs with the 10 hands/round format (beating the 109s over a few thousand tournaments and the 215s over a few hundred). I've been away from STTs for almost two years due to a new job, birth of a child, etc. Now I am playing the turbos on Stars.

Can anyone comment on the beatability of the Stars turbos versus the old Party 109s and 215s. The 27 and 60 turbos seem tougher than the old 109s but my game may be rusty.

Paul

I really really really really miss the 10 hand per round party SNGs.

Regardless of structure, the games are a lot tougher than they were two years ago.

I've heard serious comparisons to the old 109 party games and the 6.50s today (where I play), if that's true, where the [censored] was I 2 years ago??? But from the sound of all the posts in here, those games were beatable for 15% ROI or better, whereas the games your playing in today are probably 10% if you're really strong from what I recall from the FAQ - (check the FAQ, it's updated).

QFT. Great strucure, ez monies. Online poker has gotten steadily worse since then, in nearly every way.

I absolutely adored the 10 hand/rd structure. It was perfect. Maybe I just ran good, but the moment they changed structures, things went bad for me.

Well, there's good and bad in this (ok fine, mostly bad, but anyway), The good players are getting better, and we already have one bracelet from this forum this year, and some nice runs. Here's hoping we get the big one, but the point is we're all getting better.
