Villian in BB: t2090

Pre-flop: UTG calls,3 folds,Hero calls( A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]), Villian checks.

Turn (board: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]): Hero bets 200. Villian goes all-in

I call quickly.

On the BB, he does not have a strong ace most of the time (if any) and you only lose to A9+)

I call. As for him telling you he had A9, I wouldn't put much credence in that.

I dont normally fold a hand like this, but in this situtation I really felt I was beat and if I did call I can only beat a bluff. I don't see this opponent making this move with out at least and ace and if he has and Ace best I can really hope for is a split. With the pot still small and my stack still big I could not see calling my tourney away on this hand hoping just to split. The blinds are only 30/60 and by folding im still very much alive with a M of over 13.

Sounds like you talked yourself into a fold. This is an easy call. If you lay down hands like this because you "might" be beat you are giving up alot of hands you would normally win with.
