great trade for the Magic, if i was an NBA GM i would make sure i had a private line into ITs office so that I could dump my overpaid superstars for his expiring contracts whenever i needed to

Ive been a Knicks fan forever, and Im on the verge of popping a blood vessel. Ive come close several times, but this time it might actually happen. If it doesnt, I might light myself on fire.

Francis contract has no bearing on the salary cap for the Knicks. They just traded a perpetual DNP who they were not going to re-sign att he end of the year and guy who will retire in Penny for a top 30 talent. Its not a bad trade, except that I am fearful of the other shoe dropping.

I can see Marbury for Kmart and Watson or Jamal Crawford and Mo Taylor for a bunch of Portland garbage. Isiah is not done.

But from a talent perspective, if the Knicks don't care about the luxury tax, this is a huge steal.
