Default less entrants then last years ME WSOP ??

Is this true that the payout and the entrants are smaller then last year ?

but i heard that just like the 50k horse event, they are going to make sure first place takes more than last year. something like $23.7m

Actually, even if they get more players than last year, the 1st prize would likely be smaller, because they have changed the payout structure to be flatter. If they had used this year's structure last year, Jamie Gold would have only won about $10 million.
