Two Bubble hands from FTP $6.50 turbo
Up to this point Villain has been playing pretty smart, or so it seems. He's been hovering around 1500 chips for about 4 orbits by pushing and collecting the blinds once a trip. This is his first limp in bubbleland, and it smells very, very bad to me. Was I right to call anyway? If not, what is my range?

This is a push with any two, correct, regardless of the fact that the BB just limp-called an all in with A9o on the previous hand? Re: Two Bubble hands from FTP $6.50 turbo
You'd need a wicked read that villain has exactly QQ+ in hand 1 to not push. Hand 2 is standard.

Re: Two Bubble hands from FTP $6.50 turbo
Hand 1: I am very suspicious of Hand 1. Bad players love to limp AA or KK with a 3BB's at the 6.50s and 11s, but sadly I am not getting away from JJ there. nice hand
Hand 2: yes that is unexploitable, nh. |

Re: Two Bubble hands from FTP $6.50 turbo
Both pushes were correct.
In #1, the villain played horribly and caught a lucky ace on the flop. Nothing you can do about that. You made the right play. I guarantee that the villain knew nothing about ICM and was just making desperation pushes because he was short stacked. In #2, there is no other option. At less than 3xBB you have to push there. A looser calling range from your opponents that would have resulted from your previous push was balanced out by the fact that you just showed JJ, a very strong hand. |

Re: Two Bubble hands from FTP $6.50 turbo
Both are easy shoves.
In #2 you ask if it's a shove with ATC. Not necessarily, you have little FE as it is. You should be folding some of the very worst hands, maybe the bottom 16%. |
