Re: AK : tptk against 3 barrels
I honestly like the flop, but only with the intention of letting him do the betting on future streets, which is exactly what happened. The flop is dry so you don't have to be afraid of getting outdrawn.
But when taking this line, you HAVE to call the river because you severely underrepped your hand. He can be valuebetting KJ or KT here, or fire a 3rd barrel with air. Your hand is way too good to fold there. |

As played I like your turn and river line, but I would raise this flop almost always.

Re: AK : tptk against 3 barrels
I reraise flop with ATC, looks like a weak feeler beat to me. Prolly 55-TT or a weaker K. By reraising you regain the initiative in the hand. By reraising flop you could decide to check turn to exercise pot control.

Re: AK : tptk against 3 barrels
I raise the flop a lot, but mainly because I raise with air a lot. A flop call isn't that bad though on a dy board here, you're not worried about overs or much else.
I find it real hard to believe that he's leading at this flop with a set, so a river call is a must. You may be only chopping, but I think you see air/ worse hands enough for this to be correct play. |
