Sunday Million - Deep
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1225539
Villain's Opening range is extremely wide, maybe even wider as 67o+ 45s+ 22+ A2+ K6s+. He seems solid and not really retarded. I know that he 3 bets pretty wide but I have no idea about his 4 betting. My image is pretty TAG, and I've only re raised him once PF and he folded pretty quickly. What do you guys think of the push? Are there better options? |

Re: Sunday Million - Deep
Reraise less to induce tilt 4bets from small pairs and Ax type hands.
Go like 16k or so |

Re: Sunday Million - Deep
I was thinking about that, but I wouldn't know how to react to his 4-bet since he has yet to 4 bet. Wouldn't it pretty much be a disaster if I make it 16k and get called?

Re: Sunday Million - Deep
flat call. shoving is really awful you're risking 70 something k to win like 10k. you need him to fold 75% of the time to breakeven and if the opening range you gave is correct and he calls tt+/ak(seems reasonable to me) the shove is +cEV but i'm nearly positive u can get more value by calling and playing flops.
EDIT: i think you can also 3-bet if you feel so inclined but definitely not a shove, more like 16k like timex suggested. my default is certainly to call here, though. |

Re: Sunday Million - Deep
the push is too much of an overbet, i would reraise to 17500 or something like that. if he calls, yeah it sorta sucks, but you still have enough behind that you can take varying flop lines based on the board texture.
