Default Value Bet?

Villain is Tight-Agressive/Passive, don't remember now the numbers. It's Worth a bet on the river or just check?

Party Poker 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5.20 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 5.20 BB.

will he callw/ A7? or 55/66/88? If he is so tight passive post flop that he does not call w/ those then betting is prolly not good.

Can you fold to a raise? If not, then you definitely check behind.

What is his view of you so far? This ties into point one about what he calls with. If he thinks you're gonna 3-barrel w/ AK here, then a bet may be good.

There are hardly ever sure things in poker, this is just another case of what if....

I don't think he calls here with anything we beat. I dont think he folds anything that beats us. I am checking this through.

I would bet the river because BB has not shown any strength so far and I think we have the best hand. I would fold to a raise but I think we miss a bet by checking behind.

I do see that only a better hand may call but I have seen many calls at this level (which I play) with way worse hands. That's also a function of what BB thinks of you.
