Brag: Almost Became Pro Photoshop Editor
I saw these videos on youtube of people fixing up portraits to make the person look better, and I was like that is kind of sweet. It is like artistic and seems like fun. So I was like, I should figure out how to work photoshop and alter pictures.
Then I was like, [censored] if I got good at that maybe I could even get work in it. I could alter pictures of people for magazines and the like. This is going to be awesome, artistic creative new career here I come. Then I looked up how to get lessons and stuff. And I don't know, it seemed pretty complicated. It was all about masks and levels, etc. I was like where is the section on thinning an eyebrow? I don't know, sounds pretty technical. So I wind up getting all drunk on rum and beer and go to sleep. Then today, I am totaly not interested in pursuing photoshop education so I can alter images. I am just like man, I'd rather play some sets or watch tv or something. BEAT: Never gonna be a photoshop pro!

This is, and I don't use this term often, the greatest thread in the history of bbv4l (maybe the internet as well). If anyone tries to flame you I will use all the power vested in me by the state of California to, you know, make them cut it out.

This isn't a blog, this is about how it's a very common thing to get real interested in something for the short term, have lofty ideas, and then when reality sets in that it's going to involve a lot of hardwork and not be all fun we tend to pass on it. This is something everyone can relate to.
