NL200 - flushy board on turn after he called cbet
Villain here is a 17/3/0.5 kind of guy, so I can't imagine him calling my cbet is a good thing. Nor can I imagine this is a good turn. So, what do I do now?

Not a great spot, but I'd probably bet/call.

if you did not want him to call your cbet then you need to rethink why you did it.

But it seems to me that once he does and once the turn comes, he either has a flush or a set. When you see a guy with a 0.5 AF, how do you handle it? Granted, I never gave him a chance to bet this hand because of position, but I can't 3bet pre flop and just check behind and let another club come. |

I'm bad at releasing AA, but if I ever do it, it's against this type of opponent and on this board. I guess it's a check-fold.

Isn't villain likely enough to have AK here?
As I see it you have to bet. |

I'd just push. I don't play much FR but surely you can't get too paranoid by those stats...I mean, just because you only play premium cards it doesn't mean you play them well, right? This could easily be AK or something odd like AA, or a lower pair. Yes it's KK a fair bit but he was on the button and only raised one limper.

Of course, AK is the most possible, and unless its AKc, I'm happy getting it in here. Sometimes I'm a little too paranoid about someone's stats, but I didn't figure lower flushes into his range at all. After all, a 3% raiser, even through 600 hands, isn't raising much - so you'd imagine lower suited connectors aren't in his range - or are they? |
