Default NL100 - 88 vs unkown, TTJ6 board, turn play?

Sorry for not converting and making it look pretty, I'm just too lazy at the moment.

Stars 100NL...

Villain (BB) is an unknown, this is his first hand at the table...

Stacks - 100bb effective, $100 (I have villain covered, but he just sat and has only 100bbs)

Folds to me, I open 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] otb for $4, BB calls.

Flop - T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($8ish)

BB checks, I bet $6, BB calls

Turn - 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($20ish)

BB checks, I ??

Anyways, who bets the turn here and how much? Who checks the turn here?

After I get a few replies, I'll post the rest of the hand and we can hopefully also discuss river play.

Id like a 14ish bet here. If you check, your finished with the hand and have to fold to any action on the river save an 8/min bet.

I think its check most of the time giving up, bet ~16 some of the time

there are a fair number of hands he can call the flop with that you beat, a second barrell can get him to fold a fair number of them

Ok assume we check and the river is a card like the 2:diamonds: and he fires out a 1/2pot bet, are we calling all the time? What about a PSB?

I'd call the half-pot bet

the full pot one is tough, readless I'd give up most likely

Given a card that appears to be a complete brick, I think I would call up to a PSB. I think by checking the turn we have underrepped our hand and Villian could be value betting a Jack here. If he has a Ten, AA, KK or full house here, then I think I lost the minimum, and I can also get some value out of weaker Jacks and bluffs.
