(Clearly, there is a huge luck element here. Getting to sit out the first round makes a huge difference.)

Did anyone here play this event? I would be very interested to hear a trip report.

I'm tempted... even though doing this would be like throwing the concept of bankroll management out the window, running downstairs and stomping it to death.

On the other hand... in addition to the dead money found in any live tournament, this one apparently attracts otherwise-solid players who aren't too well-versed at Heads Up:

Some of the plays described in this article are very questionable, to put it mildly.

I would kill to play in this. But I wont be able to until the year after next......
