AVG finds trojon. How muck do I worry?
I started up my computer today and AVG started it auto scan.
Afew minutes later I get a message a trojan was found. I click the option to heal. So I go to the virus vault to get the info and her is what I get. Virus Name: Trojan Horse BackDoor7.IZY Path: C:\System Volume Information\_restore{202550A8-7A33-4BCA-9586-051D24DDBF8F}\RP1237\A0218051.exe Filename: A0218051.exe File size: 2.32MB I am currently rerunning the virus scan along with AdAware, Spybot S&D, Trend Online Scan. I am also running these scans on my laptop and then changing all passwords with the laptop. How much should I worry? Anything else I should do? Edit to add: Yesterday my volume doing the funny thing. It was going up and down from a point that it was extremly loud to a point you could barly hear it. I thought it was the poker client acting up. |

Re: AVG finds trojon. How muck do I worry?
Odd. It's possible that it was a false alarm. If all of those programs come back clean including AVG and Tend online scan, I'd start to rest easy. Keep an eye on things and do another scan tomorrow or this weekend. If everything comes clean, I'd say that it was a false alarm. You're also wise for running everything you can, plus another AV scanner just to be safe. Good job.
