Newbie onesome question
I'm headed to Reno/Tahoe in a few weeks with my wife - she doesn't golf but I'd like to play. I assume that no course will allow me to book as a onesome, but will the starter fit me in if I show up alone? Will it fly to book and pay for a twosome but just have me play, with my wife riding along?

Re: Newbie onesome question
Just call the course the a few days before and ask them if they have any 2-somes or 3-somes they can pair you up with around your desired time.
Often times they will just say, "show up, we'll work you in". This usually works out but just to be safe I'd ask them if they have an actual group they can assign you to. As for your wife riding along, this depends on the course. Most will charge her a "rider" fee of some sort. Some will just let her go along for nothing, but that is rare these days. |

Re: Newbie onesome question
Depending on how busy the course is they may make you pay full price if you want to have your wife ride. Play late afternoon and you can probably have her come for free or a rider fee. Where I work we wont make a tee time for a single because its too common for a 3 some to show up with an extra or some other unforseen thig happen.
