What % of high stakes players will go broke?
Even with conservative bankroll management and good play the risk of ruin is never 0%. This, plus the effects of tilt, leads me to believe that some of the people with 100K+ bankrolls at the moment will end up losing it all, possibly through no fault of their own. Am I right?
And if it's you, will you kill yourself? |

Re: What % of high stakes players will go broke?
i probably woulda lost my roll if i kept playing the 5k nl, game at party in the end i left with a 6k net loss.
Doesn't really suit my style i like shorthanded so aggression and hand reading is everything, unlike patience and discipline for full ring. And yes I'd kill myself, (sarcasm) And no I don't really believe many of us will lose our rolls. |

Re: What % of high stakes players will go broke?
One poker player out there is right now going to start an extended lucky streak that defies logic and catapaults them into riches. They are on the very edge of the standard deviation bell curve. Conversely, the opposite is true. It doesn't matter that you move down in stakes if you don't hit a draw for 10K hands, and it will happen to someone this week.

Re: What % of high stakes players will go broke?
high stakes players like me could Possibly lose our whole online roll, but most of us cash out at least a decent amount, which makes it profitable even if we lose everything we have on the internet.
