Default switching from NL tourney\'s to NL ring games

Hey guys, I have been playing only tournaments for years now since I stopped playing fixed limit ring games (all there really was back then). Now everyone is playing NL ring games and I think I should get into it and make some real money. I feel I am pretty good at MTT's, especially sit-n-go's but I want to be making more money. I only have time to play around 3-5 hours of poker a day (some days none at all). Can anyone suggest any good NL ring games I should be playing to make money? Lets say my roll is $1000. I dont want to play anything less than 1/2 NL. Should my strategy be that much different then when im in a NL tourney? Can anyone point out any differences in approach between NL tourney's and NL ring games? Thanks for any and all help you guys can provide.
