Is this wrong or am i over thinking it?

3 years ago i win this real nice picture frame at the boardwalk on the jersey shore with my girl at the time. Its one of those frames that says point pleasant beach NJ on it and has metal carvings of sea shells on the boarder. Put a picture in it of the girl at the time (we actually won two, she has the other)

broke up over a year ago and i am currently dating someone new. We went to the boardwalk and have some pictures from the trip.

Is it in bad taste to surprise her with a picture of us in the nice frame that was originally bought and used for a girl i was in a long term relationship with? is it kind of like regifting? or am i just thinking too much into it and it doesnt really matter. I'm 22 right now if that helps.

Too risky if she either knows or could possibly find out. Buy her a new picture frame.

this is in bad taste, mostly cause a picture frame with metal carvings of sea shells just sounds horrible.

The only thing I don't recycle between girlfriends are condoms... everything else is fair game.

Plus, if she ever breaks your heart... you can really HURT her by saying that the most thoughtful gift you ever gave her was from your ex... AWESOME.
