Steak- how do you season it?
Okay all these steak threads have my mouth watering. One time my old housemate cooked steaks with some sort of lemon seasoning/sauce or something and it was amazing. Anyone have their favorite ways to cook steaks and season them? Right now I'm cooking them on a foreman grill and adding garlic powder and a1 steak sauce after I'm done. I'm also open to trying to cook it on a frying pan if that's possible (I'm new to cooking if you can't tell).

Re: Steak- how do you season it?
I will assume a grocery steak (as a good steak doesn't need any seasoning).
I love Mrs Dash (Steak Blend or Tomato Basil Garlic) with a touch of Worcheshire sauce on a grocery store Delmonico. Never used a Foreman grill. I usually grill the steaks on a grill. |

Re: Steak- how do you season it?
If its an expensive cut the answer is dont season it except for a burshing on a little butter or olive oil, salt and pepper.
EDIT:For grocery store steaks use hot sauce, fresh crushed garlic, olive oil, salt pepper, and fry it in onion. |
