How do deposits on Bodog work?

When depositing via credit/debit card, I see a pending charge intially, then it goes away for about two weeks, then it finally hits the card. Whats up with the pending/no-mention of /then charged states?

When you make a deposite via credit/debit card, your bank puts those funds on hold for 24-48 hours. After this time, the hold is released from the funds, weither they have been taken by the merchant or not. I Think it just depends on bodogs card processor as to how slow/fast the funds are actually removed from your account.
