$114; AQs in sb facing button raise
My first instinct was to just shove pf, but we seem a little deep for that, but the way I played it feels like spew. What's your standard line here? Comments on all streets appreciated.

[ QUOTE ] reraise to 480 pf. As played, gotta fold the flop [/ QUOTE ] Reraise with the intention of calling a repush? What's your line on the flop as played? [/ QUOTE ] Any read on button? If button is unknown (possibly a bit laggy ) or known to be a bad player I like a push preflop because hands you dominate will be in his calling range. If button is solid, I like a call preflop because he is not calling your push with KQo. If I call preflop I'm looking to hit the flop or just check/fold. So as played fold to the raise. That raise to 480 is going to be difficult. If you do it, you gotta call a push just because AQs has should be 33% vs his range (you are 30% vs AKo and 31.8% vs KK). If you are called preflop you basically need to push any flop due to the stacks. I really dislike this line. Actually, the more I think about it, I like a push vs all opponents except a real nit. |
