I've been playing tight, I've only shown down one hand--AA, from which I won almost all my chips. Villain, on the other hand, has made some pretty ridiculous moves, including shoving all-in almost 2 hands before with two overs after hitting air on the flop (no draws, either). He ended up sucking out on an overpair by rivering the ace. My reads on villain are as follows: he would have reraised probably with JJ+, AK, AQ. He could be playing any ace or a smaller pocket pair, or maybe he has the gutshot. I will say with high certainty that he didn't hit a set, because I don't think he would have reraised all in. He's probably on the gutshot, or maybe he just wants to push me out of the hand. All in all, I'm almost certain I'm ahead. Given the reads, instacall, right? Perhaps a better question is: do I want to risk such a large portion of my stack on this hand? I usually play 1 table SNGs, so I'm not as well-versed with MTT strategy. If this is just a retarded question, please let me know, I just don't play that many MTTs. Also: pf raise is fine, right? I know some people will say I should limp with this...I like to mix it up and limp and raise like 50/50 from this position. If I had been reraised, I would have been willing to let it go, depending on how many more people entered the pot. Thanks for the input guys. |
