NL 50: KK vs. ??? - How to read the board - Bet river?
Hi guys,
villian was a 40/13/1.44 over 344 hands. It looked like he understood the basics of playing 6-max tables. Anyway he played far too much hands IMO. Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (http://www.legopoker.com/hh) SB: $51.85 BB: $50.75 UTG: $74.70 MP: $124.45 hero (CO): $128.80 BTN: $49.75 Preflop: hero is dealt Kh Kc (6 Players) UTG folds, MP raises to $2.00, hero raises to $6.00, 3 folds, MP calls $4.00 Flop: ($12.75) 4h Qd 6d (2 Players) MP checks, hero bets $8.00, MP calls $8.00 Turn: ($28.75) 5s (2 Players) MP checks, hero bets $15.00, MP raises to $30.00, hero calls $15.00 River: ($88.75) 8c (2 Players) MP bets $40.00, hero? 1) What about the min raise on turn? In what hand categories can I put him here? Is the call correct, or a push AI even better on that board? 2) What about the river bet? Easy call or easy fold? What hands might he have? Ty for answers, sirklas |

***GRUNCH***
Given stack sizes I raise more Preflop. I would probably check the Turn for Pot Size control and call a river bet. I think that if you call the turn you have to call the river when the 8c falls. |

Unless I have a read that he checkraises the turn light, I usually fold the turn.

This turn is a fold according to the Baluga Theorem, right?

Re: NL 50: KK vs. ??? - How to read the board - Bet river?
follow the 4BB+1BB for every limper pf raise rule ($10 in this case)
checking the turn is terrible - bet closer to pot and fold to the c/r vs. this passive opponent |

Re: NL 50: KK vs. ??? - How to read the board - Bet river?
@ Hoopster: This is NL 50, so one BB is 0,50 $. He was not a limper, he raised from UTG to 4 BB`s. I reraised him to 12 BB`s. Critize that preflop play? I mean, I can understand if you say I should have reraised him more....
But this situation has nothing to do with the 4 BB`s + 1 BB per limper rule IMO, right? sirklas |

I probably check there a lot and call/valuebet rivers. |

Re: NL 50: KK vs. ??? - How to read the board - Bet river?
Is this really a fold given how loose villain is? I mean if he was 20/13/1.44 I think it would be a fold, but here I'm not so sure.

I'm in the camp of betting turn harder and folding to a raise. There are so many villians who will call you down with any Q.
