Default AA level 2

$750 MTT. 8K original stacks, blinds 50/100. I have T10K. I am in 3rd position and it is folded to me with AA. What is my play? We will proceed in stages.

300,350, 400, whatever your standard raise is. Regardless, dont try any limp/trap plays in level 2 of tourneys... keep it standard

Anything notible with table? Aggressive reraising preflop? 4-5 to flop no matter what?

Standard raise here for me is 375 or so unless super tight table, then 275-325.

Yeah, i also raise 375, cause 400 is a little to big.

Anyway, just make a normal raise...give us a flop!

I raised to 300 and got 4 callers. Thought at that point that a larger raise or limp would have been better. I generally hate to make large raises though.

Flop comes JT3 with a 2 flush (I don't have any of the suit). I thought this was a good flop to get it in against draws, but I didn't like being 5-way. I bet 1000. Old guy in CO raises to 3K with 2.2K behind. Folded back to me. I have a strong feeling he has a set, even with the drawy board. Can I fold my aces?

Yeh, I pushed and he had jacks. I was pretty reluctant about pushing, as I really thought I was beaten.

From a results-oriented viewpoint, if I raise more or limpreraise, I generally still double up the jacks.

He's still going to call a bigger raise and he's still going to flop top set........

What did you put him on if I may ask? Was he pretty nitty?
