Default K Set meets scare card

Hello

here is a hand I would like to know what to do against SB.
SB is 83 / 0 / 0.62

Party Poker 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, CO folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Turn: (3 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

River: (5 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6 BB

I know the preflop play is kind of weak, but I raised 3 times in a row and every time all players folded, so I wanted to mix my play.
Facing the Turn bet after the straight and flush draw is completed I just cant convince myself of the right play.

THX
Mike

Had SB cold called on the flop or something, I could see a fold here. As is, this is two pair or something stupid too often to fold, IMHO.

I would start by raising preflop, like 100% of the time. The river is a crying call.

But really, don't slow play pre-flop with your big pairs.

IMO:

Hero raises preflop.
As played hero calls the river and cries when the flush is produced.

raise pf LDO

also consistently making big folds like this on the river, esp to obvious scarecards, is going to make opponents drool over the prospects of bluffing you over and over again.

e.g. if you raise pf and i call in the bb, and the flop comes something like 678, i'm going to call your flop bet with any two cards knowing you'll fold if the turn or river produces a 4 card straight.

Even more reason to raise. At some point they'll get tired of your constant raising and start playing back.

Good so there are two points already:

1. ALWAYS raise pre-flop!!

2. Never fold trips even when a scare card hits!!

Exactly. This is actually great timing for you to come up with Kings, assuming you raise preflop that is.

This is an easy river call imo. You are getting 6:1 with top set. I think this is something other than a flush/straight at better than 1/7.

At those stakes players do weird things.
