Default hand from coaching session/how thin yo? (50nl)

heh, okay not really a coaching session as it was me teaching my best friend how to play while getting stoned.

but i'm donking down here at 50nl and dunno how thin i'm betting here as villain has been pretty TAG and had a Larry David image which automatically equals nit.

SB only calls flop bet with an overpair, flush/straight draw, AT (would he call this PF?), and a seven. I think most players that play this passively to the river would be drawing or holding onto JJ/QQ (KK/AA obviously 3-bets pre). Given that the only draws that made it are J8 and 86, both of which are bad calls preflop, I call. I see a seven raising before the turn, or at least betting more on the turn. We beat the overpairs at this point and we're good in a range of cases.

He wouldn't donk if he made his draw. He would go for a c/r i think, therefore i call. Looks like a blocking bet, 8$ into a 26$ pot. Giving you 1:4,25.
I would raise against a loose opponent. Here i prefer calling.

I can't see him calling a raise with a worse hand, and you only have a pair of tens (the sevens counterfeit your pair of nines)

Easy call, no raise. (Unless you are thinking youre beat and smell serious weakness, then shove)

Chomp, you're proving me correct when I thought that you may be able to learn this game quickly.

I just called, but doing it I felt like I was missing a ton of value and I shouldn't minraised. So props to Chomp and kolo, nh's.

FWIW, this is definitely a minraise, I became sure of within the moment I clicked call.
