Default QQ Pre-flop versus tight player

$2/3 NL (Live)

Stacks of roughly $200 each.

I raise QQ in early position to $10. 1 call behind and then CO re-raises to $55. He is tightest player at table. I have previously see him limp in late position with TT and AQ.

Haven't seen a good hand in hours, very tempted to come over the top but feel like I am running QQ into KK or AA. I make what I think is a good fold and get shown JJ.

What other factors should I consider about my opponent in this spot?

My logic - what can he call for $150-200 if I push that QQ beats?

What do I do if I smoothcall, see the flop, QQ is still the overpair and I'm still convinced I'm against KK or AA?

Obviously my logic was off, interested in feedback.

Thanks!

You can't call pf and then decide you're up against AA/KK too often to get it all-in on a low flop. If you're convinced his range is heavily weighted toward AA/KK, then pf fold is fine. Just b/c he has JJ in this particular hand doesn't mean you played it wrong this time, although it may mean you need to rethink his range for next time.

I pokerstoved it (I dont kno how to post the results here)

Anyways for pushing preflo: If his range is jj+ and aks preflop, then we are behind about 60-40 in pot equity. BUT if you add 10s and AQs to his range, the equity is slightly in our favor.

Thanks all for feedback. The pokerstove data is very helpful. JJ is my most optimistic obstacle in the hand, and even then it didn't make sense as it is 1 pair above the TT he limped with earlier. Though people do get excited about face cards .

Still, 60/40 makes me feel a little better about the fold, but also not a bad spot to gamble in if I suspect I am good. There would be times I might come back over the top as light as 88 or 99 if I were against a LAG but this opponent was very tight.

muck it if you do know that much about him. but the beauty of live is that random tight players 3bet 66 and call a push here.
