Default 200NL Two AK hands

200NL 6-handed, full stacks:

Who likes a second barrel in these two hands?
Not sure of my image, but nothing crazy.

Hand 1:

Villain runs like 30/18/4 and is probably mediocre.

UTG opens for 7, hero reraises to 28 in BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], villan calls.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot is 57

Hero bets 34, villain calls.

Turn: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot is 125

Hero??

Hand 2:

Villain runs like 25/16/2, no further reads.

UTG raises 7, hero reraises to 28 from the BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], villain calls.

Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot is 57

Hero bets 35, villain calls.

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot is 127

Hero??

Please explain your reason why it is good/bad.

hand 1 def. give up and hope villain checks behind and you river your J... but fold to a bet from villain

hand 2, i also usually give up, you just don't have much fold equity in puts this big, the board didn't really change.... i don't think you get folds very often at all

Nothing is a must, but if I check I give up the hand.

Im interesting in what kind of boards its good to fire 2 barrels with AK occasionaly.

The two boards are very different.

I guess if you never fire 2 barrels with AK this is uninteresting. BUT I do believe that some of you have it in you arsenal so speak up!

I actually like a second barrel in hand one. It is unlikely he hit a set with no raise on the flop, so unless he has AQ and can't fold it or hit a set of 10's on the turn I think this is not a bad spot.

Hand 2 I give up.

in hand two youre beating AQ and thats IT. Im not even sure he would fold 33 here... so why bet this ugly reraised pot where we only can beat AQ? If were in position and he checks this flop to you Id likely barrel a cbet but OOP?! Dunno...

In hand 2 he has a pair, probably 1010+ most of the time.
He never calls my cont. bet with AQ and probably not preflop either. The question is: Will he fold 1010 and JJ??

In hand 1 I have very little idea what he he is a lot looser is 3bet pots. BUT I probably have more outs if I get called. At least 4 jacks, and maybe 3 king and 3 Aces.

i think in hand 2 i either c/f the flop or double barrel depending on how i feel/his wsd or any history. I think he often has TT/JJ type of hands and won't fold those to the flop bet as that would make his pf call worthless. Thus he might fold them on the turn if we bet but that is also kinda shaky, which leads me to simply c/f this flop oop.

hand 1 is a c/f for me on the turn against a rather loose villain, but i am definitely not sure if a 2nd barrel might be better here.
