What do you think in these situations? Both with KK.
SB is 19/16 Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $67.45 Hero (BB): $91.80 UTG: $19.40 CO: $40.10 BTN: $55.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG folds, CO raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, Hero raises to $5.50, CO folds, BTN calls $4.00, SB calls $4.00 Flop: ($18) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, Hero bets $14.00, BTN folds, SB raises all-in to $61.95 how many of you call here/how many of you fold? i see this as a push from a flush draw with overcards, combodraw, maybe overpair but doubtful due to preflop play unless super trapping with AA, a set, or two pair. UTG here is 18/10. Hand#1
I like a much larger PF raise to about $7.50..OOP and with 3 villains already in the pot a raise to only $5.50 is offering to good of implied odds to any callers... Call the flop shove...This will be a smaller overpair or a FD often enough to +EV... Hand#2 BET the turn and fold to a C/R..You do not want to give a frre card here...There are too many scare cards that either kill your hand or your action... |

so how much can i bet the turn for and still feel ok about folding to a c/r?
if i have around 38 left, and the pot is 37.75 a 1/2 pot bet that gets c/r will leave me with nearly 5:1 odds to call with an overpair. granted i guess you can say that im drawing to 2 outs at this point, but i don't think that's a lock. i've c/r pushed turns with top pair nut flush draw before. |

hand 1: you should be stacking a lower overpair here most of the time. hand 2: please pot this flop. as played i can find a fold you're only really ahead of AQ. |
