Default 50nl- tough river spot with straight on 3 flush river

Villain is like 15/15, seems taggish nothing out of the ordinary. The reason I called here preflop was because I had just busted the bb and it seemed like he really wanted to get me.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($16.40)
BB ($50.75)
UTG ($53.05)
Hero ($101)
Button ($47.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $2, Hero calls $2, 2 folds, BB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($6.25) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($6.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

River: ($6.25) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $4.5, Hero raises to $13, BB folds, UTG raises to $51.05, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $70.30

Seems like you're beat or have the same hand so it's a good fold.

It's either a flush, godawful slowplayed KK or even someone really playing scared with QQ (also AJ). That you describe as taggish make those less likely. Probably a good fold.

fold. it wouldn't be slowplayed KK or QQ, they would have RR PF, bet flop, turn. Either way you're beat here and sometimes I don't mind just calling there on the river IMO. You're only going to get called by J9, or strong two pair when you raise.

I strongly considered just calling the river bet, but the way the hand played out I really thought QQ was a significant portion of his range. I had a bit of a LAG image, so QQ is probably snap calling.

what does the 15/15 mean? Is it 15% of the time he raises, then 15% of the time he calls?

Anyone else think hero should've bet the flop? I like everything else

yeah he should def. cbet this flop IMO, because its such a dead board esp to what the villain's range could be.

15/15 means that every hand he has played, he has raised. It's only over ~55 hands so it doesn't really mean a whole lot.

I would, in many cases, bet this flop but given what the bb thinks of me at this point he would be calling with any pair, and I'm not prepared to fire a second barrel with air against him.
