goddamn that's a gross card. effective stacks are $140 at the river...how does bet $65/fold to raise sound? i can't see him bluff raising here as we look pretty committed to the pot, so we can fold pretty confidently if he shoves over our bet.

c/c is an option, but if he shoves we have a really tough decision on our hands with no read on this guy. we'd probably have to end up folding to a shove. also, if we check, he likely checks behind w/a J, causing us to lose value.

no reads or stats on villian?

disgusting spot. i always hate bet folding with these stack sizes but i actually think that half pot and fold to shove might be the best play.

Disgusting. I am too familiar w these spots lately. I actually see no value in betting $65 since only a hand that beats us is calling (can't see a lone J calling 3 bets on this board); what sucks is your not beating anything so check/call sucks since you cant really call anything bc every draw hit (spades, K-Q) and I dont think a J would bet for value. Im kind of a showdown monkey, but vs an unknown, I don't hate c/f in this spot.

Sweet hand to raise preflop in the first round.

I tend to check this on the flop, because I usually going to check the turn, making villians almost always bet the river and I have no idea what to do.

But when I bet the turn, they usually don't bluff the river.
