board isnt great but i think i can get a call from A9ish hands here, what do you guys think? just lead again? my image to him is 24/18/inf for the same 100 hands. Re: stackadonking a non-donk
meh, whatever. i would expect him to raise the flop with any sort of super strong hand (ie. 2p/set).

Re: stackadonking a non-donk
Good because of the flop texture. Most sets would want to put raise this draw heavy flop.

Re: stackadonking a non-donk
why would this ever be a good play here?
1. he doesn't fold better, I wouldn't think 2. he doesn't call with worse (and it's prob not even close) 3. if he's bluffing aren't we sort of 'rebluffing'? |

Re: stackadonking a non-donk
i've had some very good players stack off with top pair on boards more dry than this vs me before
this type of play depends almost entirely on your image, i think i could get away with it every now and then but i think the typical 2p2 tag is spewing against a good player here |

Re: stackadonking a non-donk
I think we're shoving for protection mostly -- we have the best hand alot. 2pr+ almost always autoraises this flop, and while 67 got there, it's such a small part of his range.

WRONG, imo [/ QUOTE ] i agree with delta on this one. this is a pretty crappy board for stack-a-donk especially vs an above average player. he folds all his one pair hands except A9dd, and possibly TT (although i dont think this villain would get here as he did with TT). one of the draws just hit. and he shows up with 89 and sets more often than a lot people think... i see 21/16 types flat call flops and jam turn blanks with sets all the time vs other tags. he knows youre not a donk... i much prefer bet/fold, and bet/call a certain smaller % of the time. |

Re: stackadonking a non-donk
I am not really worried about him having a better hand here but I just don't think someone this tight is going to stack off w/ a worse hand often enough for this to make sense, unless it's more for protection that value.
