Not even close. How many outs did you think you had?

Without a strong read on this villain, specifically that he regularly three-bets light, I think I fold to the re-re-raise on the flop.

Preflop is meh, cause you have UTG+1, who has already called one raise after limping and probably will call again so your getting fairly decent odds on your call.

Flop is a definate fold. UTG+1 isn't doing this with a hand you beat.

In these games vs a villian who isn't a maniac, I usually don't reraise AK. I like to take a flop and go from there.

At the higher games things are different but in these games villians will stack off with 2nd pair and/or worse.

Wow, are you saying you plan on trapping with AK and try to stack someone with TPTK? Wow, wow.

Thanks for the responses so far.

My thinking after that flop was that I could have as many as 10 outs (4 Js, 3 As, 3 Ks). I thought villian might do this with either a Q (but hopefully not AQ or KQ) or a flush draw. If he has a FD, I only have have 7 outs. I'm getting 2 to 1, if he has a FD I'm getting ~even $$ in the long run, and if he has Qx, I'm making $$ in the long run. If he has QcXc, I'm losing money in the long run.

Comments on my thought process?

your ace and king outs are discounted if he holds AA KK QQ. UTG+1 has this a lot here with his preflop 4bet. I'd be temped to fold PF but calling and seeing a flop isn't bad.

The flop is an instant fold.

No, I think requires some thought. What if UTG shoves and MP calls, what do you do? Besides your getting involved in a big preflop pot with a hand that has to improve to win most of the time. What do you put these players on? If MP doesn't AA or KK then you are flipping with at least 1 if not both of them. Do you really think UTG is going away if we call. If he's not coming along I think you get out of this hand when MP 4bets. I know this NL10 and I know people play all kinds of weird crap and bet in goofy ways, but we have no Idea about these MP's 4 bet range or even if either are loose or tight.

I actually prefer to call this the first time around also, I want to see the flop and I have position on the PFR, but alot depends on who is acting after me. In the blinds I re-raise most of the time.
