NL50: Bet after catching the trips?
I think SB is on tilt a bit, cause lost AA to 54o and some time before to me in similar situation on unraised pot where i catch straight.. I dont remember stats, but he turned from passive to agresiive after some time..
- Hero - $73.46 [Dealer] - SB - $50.30 Prima Poker skin No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 folds, Hero raises to $2, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($4.5, 2 players) SB bets $2.25, Hero calls. Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($9, 2 players) SB bets $9, Hero ??? What is the best play in your opinion? Raise something like 2x to 2.5x his bet, or push allin? I think some kind of minraise in this situation works better on tilty players.. |

Re: NL50: Bet after catching the trips?
i would raise the flop the board is drawy, minraise could give him odds to draw id raise to atleast 24ish here.

Re: NL50: Bet after catching the trips?
i would raise here, probably to about 20 ish, if he is tilting he will probably push over the top with a FD. if he has a queen and you call, if a flush card hits you wont stack him.

Re: NL50: Bet after catching the trips?
I'd raise to $20 or $25 even here, you want him to preferably commit everything on this turn or failing that force him to call on the river with 2 pair. By just calling you leave him with $37 behind and only $27 in the pot.
If you make it $20 he'll have $26 behind and $49 in the pot, far easier for him to talk himself into either pushing the turn or calling a river bet. If you make it $25 then he's likely to push now if he wants to stay involved in the pot, I think I err on the side of $20, but $25 would be ok too. |

Re: NL50: Bet after catching the trips?
I raise this flop, but, as played, definitely raise the turn.
