Default Variance: Dad\'s a donk

So my dad started to get into poker a couple of years ago after I made a nice cash while on a family trip in Vegas in a tourny he staked me for. He played some 2/5nl on the trip and probably lost a little (don't remember exactly.)

Anyways, he has been playing online more and more lately, and all he ever wants to talk to me about nowadays is how bad he runs and how poker is rigged. I've tried teaching him, but he just can't grasp fundamental concepts of the game, he goes on severe monkey-tilt, as he's always had severe anger management issues, and has zero BR management. I've tried to tell him to switch to cash games online, but he thinks donkaments are more prestigious, whatever.

Here's his Sharkscope graph, to his credit he has had a couple of decent MTT scores, including bubbling the FT of a Sunday Warmup on Stars.

What inspired me to make this post was this hilarious HH he sent me via email today, titled "beat", responding to a HH I sent him last night where I got 1 outed with KK all in on a 22Q board in a 3 way pot, both villains had Q/rag.

PokerStars (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Dad is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of 25.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, Dad calls, 1 fold, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets 175, BB calls, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Dad raises to 350, SB calls, BB raises all-in to 1470, Dad raises all-in to 2035, SB folds.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: 3540

Results in white below:
BB has 9c Jh (three of a kind, nines).
Dad has Kc Kh (two pair, kings and nines).
Outcome: BB wins 3540.

So should I buddy list him ?

a) He got it in with the best of it.

b) Buddylisting a MTT player is retarded. How's that going to work? They're all awful anyways.

Re: (a) He played the hand horribly, which I told him.

Re: (b) It was a joke, but he also plays STT's, as shown by his Sharkscope graph.

My dad plays a freeroll on FT every night. He takes them very seriously and always lets me know when he does well. He actually got first out of 335 players last night. I watched the final table, as I am at home, and couldn't stop laughing.
