1/2NL: JJ in reraised pot
1/2NL 7-handed live game.
I limp in UTG w/ JJ. Loose/bad player behind me raises to 12. SB calls. BB reraises to 60. Raiser has about 100 total. SB has about 120. BB has about 280. I cover. UTG+1 is a loose player who called my raise earlier w/ 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], flops a flush draw, then bets out the draw and calls my check-raise allin w/ the 5 high and got stacked. SB is a loose player who likes to see a lot of flop and will habitually bluff. BB is a much more solid player, and I know he wouldn't make this move w/ nothing. My range for him is TT+, MAYBE 88-99, AK, and MAYBE AQ. The raise amount sort of looks like he wants to push me out and go against one of the short stacks. So what should I do? Fold? Raise? Push? Call? I actually called him. Which I think was a bad play. |

Re: 1/2NL: JJ in reraised pot
A live 3-bet like this looks to me like AA or KK and not a whole lot else.
I would personally open-raise in this situation, rather than limp, despite being UTG. I think this is a fold, even if you characterize the SB as loose. |

Re: 1/2NL: JJ in reraised pot
I think this is fold. I think BB either has you dominated with AA or KK or in a coinflip with AK. With your UTG limp (I would have raised) his range may be larger but I would still look to get my money in in a better spot.
