What\'s the best online sportsbook that takes Americans AND...?
...has the widest array of bets on offer?
I currently have an account at SBG, which just has the basics. And then I see sites like BWIN, who offers ridiculously obscure things like Portuguese futsal, and chess. Me likey. So who might come closest to replicating that smorgasbord and will take Americans? |

Re: What\'s the best online sportsbook that takes Americans AND...?
thegreek has the widest selection
but there are much easier books to start at if you want to make any money. the linesmakers there are tough. sportsbook.com has a wide array of bets and isn't as smart, but it might be hard to get paid. |

[/ QUOTE ] As to sportsbook.com, they have solid bonuses and hang overnight lines for baseball, etc. If you're relatively small time like me, then I can attest that getting paid was no problem as of about a month ago. I cashed out a few hundred to clear out my account and received the check in a week and a half, approximately. I can't speak to bigger players' ability to cash. I now use primarily 5dimes, and their lines are much sharper IMHO. If you choose 5dimes and want to split a referral bonus, let me know. |

Re: What\'s the best online sportsbook that takes Americans AND...?
Its a bit of a surprising option, but Bodog has a wide range of weak props (reference all the "threads on the front page today alone with bodog and prop in the title) - however not typically on very exotic games - but still they'll put up props on entertainment or some sports that are very weak and don't generally show up anywhere else. They also have occasionally weak underdog lines, even once you're shifted to the "sharp" feed. And they're very welcoming to Americans AND by far the easiest to move money in and out of.

Re: What\'s the best online sportsbook that takes Americans AND...?
This is great info. Thanks.
I'm more of a soccer junkie than anything, and all three have mentioned better selection of leagues and games than SBG. In fact, the only thing missing of any interest that the BWINs have is African Nations Cup Qualifying, if you want homework. Thanks again. |

Don't get overexcited with BWIN. They're known to offer the fishiest stuff around and attract the biggest fish ever, but don't you dare win a few times. You'll get paid no problem, but that's about it. Limits on small time leagues aren't even worth mentioning... kinda like Bodog props. Euro books mostly suck when it comes to adjusting lines, but they'll limit you in no time.

sportsbookreview.com
Not sure about wide array for the A and A+ sites (other than Bodog, which other people have mentioned has very odd props bets at low limits) - my main concern is prompt payout, good software, and high limits. WNBA and AFL is as exotic as I get, and all of the major books offer that. Don't go with BetUS.com. I made the mistake of going with them. They are taking 6 weeks+ right now to do payouts. I have $15K sitting in there and will have to wait till July to see any of it (I just asked for a payout). I should be lucky to even get it back. I'm with Bookmaker.com as my main book now and am joining soon up with bodog and betjamaica to start out. |

WSEX handles all of my MLB bets now. I'm pretty happy with them and the payouts.
