PS 10/180 TT in the BB
This table is rediculously tight except villain and SB. SB has was CL at table for the past 20 min and has dominated the table with aggressive play. I've built my stack off of his obvious steal attempts by restealing. That being said, I have villain raising with any PP, AT+, maybe even KQ. I'm really not happy with playing this too far because of my stack and being OOP. Anyways, can I get some input on what the proper play would be here?

Re: PS 10/180 TT in the BB
How active has villian been, and how he plays postflop, matters alot.
Given it is a $10/180, I fold here without reads (that is, I suspect my opponent is not looser than KJ+ 88+, and I have many opportunities to get chips in very good) |

I'm definitely not folding. I think re-raising to 22-2400 would be best. Then, plan to play the flop aggressively if it's not too scary.

If villain was open raising light, that might win the pot straight away. If villain calls, then I would probably lead most flops with a decent sized c-bet. Edit: In fact, I would probably be pushing on most flops. Your hand is too strong to fold to villain's open raise with the above hand range IMHO. |

Re: PS 10/180 TT in the BB
You need to find out whether you are ahead or behind.
You could call and then bet the flop, probably $1k. Or, reraise to $1800 before the flop. If he only calls, then it depends what comes on the flop, only one face or ace, I would bet into him. Two overcards will be a problem. The thing is, when you are in the blind you are always out of position with the bully, and he is always going to steal. you gotta take him out or die trying. |

Re: PS 10/180 TT in the BB
I call and see a flop because of the stacks. If you re-raise, one of (3) things will happen:
1) The Villain will fold (good) 2) The Vilain will call. You'll be obligated to shove any flop (unless you hit a set and wish to trap). You're not going like alot of those flops, but will have to shove anyhow. 3) The Villain will shove, and you'll be forced to call. IMO, you have too many chips to risk them all pre-flop with TT. See the flop, then decide what to do. If your stack was a little smaller (ex. 2500-3k chips), this would be an easy shove. |
