Help...does this present suck?

Hi,
Need a bit of help. It's my gf's birthday on Monday. I was thinking of getting her a digital camera, cuz it's pretty much the only thing I can think of. As well as this, I'm quite sure she would get loads of use out of it, going out and with college etc.

Only problem is, I gave her a camera about 1.5 months ago. It was one of the ones that Party sent out to their VIPs at Christmas. It's an awful camera, and I gave it to her telling her so, because I already had one and I had no use for it etc. It takes crappy shots - a lot of them come out all red and blurry.

So...should I get her a new one for her birthday? Is that really lacking in imagination?

I'm confused as to why you think it isn't a good idea to get your gf a nice, new camera that she will use and enjoy. I would assume she would prefer this to something more original but way less practical, like a piece of jewelry.

Yeah...well, I guess it's the fact that she's probably not very tech-savy. like, I dont know if its that big a deal for her that the camera that she has now isn't really good.

I couldn't stand using it myself, but maybe she likes it. And another camera could be like 'wtf?'

Bad idea unless her favorite hobby is photography (i'm assuming this isn't the case since she would already have a sweet camera). Trust me on this.

Get her a rabbit or one of these

Has she ever said things like "this camera sucks" or "I wish this camera would take better pictures"?

If so, then buy her one.

If not, then don't.

This really isn't that hard.
