I Have Press Credentials for the WSOP
Today, I received confirmation that my press credentials for the WSOP were approved. Timothy Bruce (deacsoft) also got confirmation of his credentials.
At present, there is no plan or budget in place for what kind of coverage the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine and twoplustwo.com as a whole will provide. So, I'm looking for feedback from posters on what you would like to see. Keep in mind that our staff (including me and Timothy) will be a maximum of three, presumably, part time workers. We have no intention or desire to provide duplicate coverage of what Bluff Magazine can be expected to do this year (and Card Player did in previous years). It seems to me that we should tailor whatever coverage we do to the precise needs and desires of the forum readers. So, what type of coverage (which can't be expected to be found elsewhere) would you like to see from us? |

Re: I Have Press Credentials for the WSOP
Dynasty, since Bluff et al will focus on the broader picture, I'd recommend you go a very specific route. Either follow a high-profile player (poster?) on a hand for hand basis or go way deep with analysis for specific hands.

Re: I Have Press Credentials for the WSOP
A feature that I thought was pretty cool, in the EPT Monte Carlo tourney blondepoker had two running update threads, one only the updaters could post in, but the other was interactive.
In the interactive thread, if someone posted a name and picture of a player they knew (friend/family/etc), the updaters would go out and get a chip count of that person and post it in the thread. Don't know how feasible this will be with 8000+, but would be cool. |

[ QUOTE ]
follow some name 2p2ers [/ QUOTE ] I agree with Daryn, Find a couple of 2+2ers and do a day in the life of style story, track the ups and downs. If not that then maybe some tournament strategy articles about games other than hold'em. Adjusting from cash Omaha, to Tournament Omaha, cash 7 8/ob to tourney 8/ob etc... |

agree, follow high profile posters. [/ QUOTE ] Assuming this gets done, what resources will I need in order to do it most effectively? Also, is this suggestion primarily for the Main Event? Is there something else desired for the other tournaments? |

Re: I Have Press Credentials for the WSOP
I agree that following the name 2+2ers would be hottt.
Other ideas might be to cover some of the cash games that are running. This would be a different area than all of the other media outlets and I think a lot of people would be interested. Who's playing them? Who's not? Also some interviews would be cool as well (I'm sure you're already planning on this). And any gossip you hear/see is always popular. Who is Brandi hugging on now? Okay, maybe stay away from Brandi. Who is broke? |
