Sometimes I raise here pf but I don't have any reads as I'm new to the table. Folding pf to the raise isn't the end of the world, but closing the action makes it a call, IMO.

On the flop I figured he COULD be trapping. He COULD call w/ overs if I just call. And the button bet COULD be because we both checked, so I think a c/r there is a pretty good play, and I can probably fold to anything else over the top.

The turn brings the flush and I figured I'd rep it...thoughts? Do you buy my line?

preflop is very very bad. i do this alot, but its pretty high variance and probably marginally ev at best since it needs to succeed alot more than it fails.

I think button very often has the hand you are repping given his small flop bet.

Hmm, ya, I thought he would have clubs pretty often but when i went for the c/r I figured I should probably rep the flush if it came, too.

As for pf, I don't think it's bad but it's probably not great. But closing the action, good relative position and a good hand makes it a call for me.

a weak bet is one of two things.

1) iam trying to win the pot in a bluff for the least amount of money

2) i dont want you to fold but i cant let another card come for free. OR ive got a sexy sexy draw.

when you raise and he calls you can throw number one out the window. With no reads on the players and you being an unknown i doooont think your making a smart play.

IF you wanted to be real sexy, youd CRAI on the turn... now thats something thats believable but iam just an absolute SICKO and you aren't so i dont recommend that.

I buy your line as a hand like 4c5c, 5c7c, 7c8c, etc.

The problem is, his line looks like a draw (although it could be the same draw you have) -- if you are going to bet this turn with the intent of getting it in anyways, a shove isn't too much more than a PSB. Although it seems like, as played, b/f is the line to take.

I don't like it since he can very often have a flush, pair+club draw etc and won't fold. Flop is meh, I like calling and trying to let BB come along for the ride. Raising isn't terrible though.
