Both villains are very loose, and quite passive. I'm constantly wondering just how passive a total AF of 0.7 is, given a vpip of 47, but at any rate, it's below 1...
Anyway: SB is 47/13/0.7; I have only <20 hands on the other guy, so basically readless. Absolute Poker Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $1/$2 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 folds, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero calls. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (9SB, 3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls. Given their passivity, I didn't quite believe my hand to be best here - it could well be that SB was just afraid of the board in general. So, basically, I was more or less done with it, after I got called. Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6BB, 3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls. Ok, they're still checking - so maybe they don't have a flush? River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (9BB, 3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero ??? If they called the turn, I guess they'll call the river as well, but how often am I good if getting called? |

With only the 4th nuts I check behind against 2. They'll look you up the the 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] but also with the 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Then again, they'll prolly look you up with any A, maybe even worse. Against only one of these I'd value bet.

You may get a call from them with Ax, Jx?, any diamond. So there is some reason to bet but also reason not to. There is also the possibility one of the villains is planning to c/r the river with the diamond K. We would hate that. Maybe we should bet this but I probably don't.
