I think Nerdking didn't see the board paired and counterfeited our two pair? I think you cannot beat much at the river. I think if CO is somewhat agressive, and will bet this river with a missed draw (like JQ or two hearts) sometimes a check-call is way better than a bet. He might be calling a six, but every ten is a split. Try to induce a bluff here

We're now behind like every ten.

Since CO open limped, I'd assume he is bad and passive. I'd bet/fold the river and hope to get a call out of 77/Ace high, something like that. I wouldn't expect CO to bluff here that often if we check.

The river bet is not right IMO.
You loose against more hands you win against.
So, I think a check/call is fine.

Edit: Guys: Question: What hands is hero ahead of? And which behind?
