NL200: KK overpair on QQJ board 3bet pot
Villain has only been here for a few orbits so no reliable stats, seemed pretty loose and on the passive side. Maybe 40/2/1.0 type.
Fairly simple hand, but I'd like a sanity check... SB: $140.87 Hero (BB): $234.50 UTG: $197.00 UTG+1: $201.65 MP1: $157.25 MP2: $37.00 CO: $226.08 BTN: $74.80 Preflop: Hero is dealt K K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (8 Players) 5 folds, BTN raises to $7.00, SB calls $6.00, Hero raises to $21.00, BTN folds, SB calls $14.00 Flop: ($49) Q J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB bets $46.00, Hero... |

Re: NL200: KK overpair on QQJ board 3bet pot
I'd curse and fold.
I can't think of any hand he'd donk bet with that doesn't beat yours unless he's got tons of balls and is trying to "steal" the pot from you. [ QUOTE ] seemed pretty loose and on the passive side [/ QUOTE ] This read seems to indicate that he isn't stealing OOP on this flop, however, so KK is probably no good. |

Re: NL200: KK overpair on QQJ board 3bet pot
I don't think this is simple. I hate to do it, but I'm giving up my KK.
Unless he's tricky enough to put you on AA or KK with your raise and thinks you'll fold to his aggression, he has a Q or JJ. (I'm a nit who plays much lower levels, though, so take it for what it's worth.) |

Almost 90% of the time you are looking at a 2 outter here against what you described. Hate laying it down but looks like you have to. Really doubt you are looking at ja or k10 here.

Yes, I now think it was an instafold, that's why I wrote it is a simple hand.
