Can someone please explain the rules here?

For the second time I've made a post which doesn't contradict forum rules and I've seen it deleted by a moderator without any explanation on the forum or via PM or email to myself.

Could whichever moderator deleted my post please explain why, it seems to me the moderators are not exactly even handed in their duties here. If this isn't an open forum why pretend it is?

I deleted your post because it directed players to visit your site and read the FAQ. Regardless of whether you used a link it was spam. You can't make posts like "Visit my site" or "PM me" so "Go to my site and read my FAQ" is just as much spam.

It would have been different if the OP has asked about your program but it was a generic Full Tilt question that had nothing to do with your site. The notify button was pushed and I received 2 pm's regarding your spammy post. If I allowed everybody to make posts like that the forum would be worthless.
