Default 3-6-12 questions

How would a 3-6-12 structure change the starting hand requirements from SSHE for the tight and loose games? Also, it seems to me that this structure makes it more profitable to checkraise the turn to protect your hands, rather than the flop. I think that checkraising the flop just gives my hand away without protecting it, leaving me winning the minimum and losing the maximum. Any help with the adjustments?
