Default 78hh on button

Meow chow!

SB is on mega tilt. Last hand I was dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and open he calls. We cap a T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] flop, i c/r and call a 3-bet on the T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] turn. River blanks and I c/c and he shows 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. This was the 1st hand he's played so that's a good sign.

Anyway, captain stinky breath open limps and it's folded to me on the button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Do you have a standard in this spot?

is C.S.B the guy on tilt? Was he sb last hand or this hand? I'm demi-retarded and can't figure out who's sitting where.

Thanks.

With a maniac in the SB my default would be to limp here and hope to see a cheap flop.

I think the problem with raising is that the maniac is going to be 3 betting a fair bit and I don't want to have to pay 3 bets preflop when there's so many flops I'm just going to have to fold on.

limping also virtually ensures that the maniac is going to be in the pot which is nice.

I'd def be interested in hearing some arguments for raising here tho.

I'm with Neko if I'm going to have to SD to win vs. SB. A hand with SD value I'm raising here for sure thinking SB will sweeten the pot with a very wide range indeed and I might get it HU with him if UTG is w/t.

You have a neutral EV hand against just about any normal range. You want the BB out. The maniac in the SB might 3 bet and this might drive out the limper, putting more dead money in the pot.
