Default Vegas Trip May 30-June 5th... Need some advice

Ok I recently discovered this forum and am beyond impressed with the knowledge this forum presents. Basically I am a wanna-be online poker pro who usually busts out from playing too many hands. I am going to Vegas with my girlfriend in about a week.. she has never played poker live before.. I have only played once before.

I read the tournament thread and just need some advice. For beginners like us at live poker.. what is the best TOURNAMENT to play in?.. where they tolerate beginners without getting ripped to shreds.

The money aspect is not a big deal as far as buy ins go.. we could go up to probably 200-300.00 if need be.. we are just looking at some tournaments to get our feet wet and possibly win some $$.

Secondly, not sure if this question belongs here or not.. are there any good alternative funding solutions for Fulltilt or Pokerstars? I obviously tried all my credit cards to no avail..also tried epassporte which did not work for me and mywebatm.. again failure... so any advice would be great.

Sorry for the long post!

Thanks

Brody

BJB:

You will find a list of regularly spread tournaments in the stickied thread called "Classic B&M Forum Threads - READ THIS FIRST!". Please not that its usually best to read through the other active posts in the forum before starting your own, this topic is already being discussed in other threads today. We lock threads which are duplicates of existsing active threads, thats why you can't respond in it.

Also this really isn't the forum to be discussing the funding of online poker rooms. Go visit the Internet Poker forum where this is discussed in many active threads already.

welcome to the forums....
