yes, when this happens vs. a decent player you always wonder how often they are bluffing, but doing anything but folding is going to lose you money.

you should go back in your pt db and look at how many times villain folded the flop.... probably enough to make the flop bet profitable.... at least that's the assumption i've been working under

What I'm thinking lately is that in a RR-OOP spot like this, if you're not willing to 2nd barrel the turn, you should just check the flop.

As played, I don't know. Is this a meh?

oh and his FTCB% is 71. I'm not checking this flop becuase 1) betting is probably profitable, and 2) I never check here with a made hand and 3) therefore it pretty much declares I missed and opens the door for him to bluff

Lately, I've been checking the flop with AK here. I easily check AA or QQ on this flop though, and maybe KK sometimes as well. In a reraised pot you don't really need a flop bet to get all the money in, and it gives villains the opportunity to think their weak pair is good.

If your 3betting range is quite wide, then when you have 78d here...do you cbet? Unfortunately i think most of my 3betting range preflop isn't going to hit this flop hard...so then i just have to c/f if you aren't cbetting here with QQ/TT/AA/KK?

maybe metagame doesn't matter that much tho
