transitioning from limit to no limit

have been hesitant to make the transition because my first couple of times have not been too successful. I come from a high low split background. we play mostly limit holdem if we play it all. I have several no limit books "the theory", Pot limit and no limit, and all 3 harrington books.

The stakes we play will be either 2-4 or 2-5 no limit. What can I do as a newbe to n/l to improve? I am going to reread all the books, have the adequate bankroll. need some pointers in making the transition as smoothly and less damaging as possible.

back home I am one of the better limit players in the games, well versed in theory and do well in AC playing in the bigger split games. What thinking and theory adjustments do I need to make?
